April 11-17, 2005 Sandy Dennis Festival will be held in Hastings. Activities include acting workshops, art by Sandy's niece, a premier performance by a second-grade acting troupe, a tour of Sandy's neighborhood, a one-act play based on Sandy's memoir, and a Sandy Dennis movie.

September 24-25, 2004 Sandy Dennis Foundation hosts the Nebraska Theatre Caravan production of The Spitfire Grill at Hastings Community Theatre. Proceeds go toward the Sandy Dennis Festival 2005.

June, 2004 Tam Pauley visited the Donna Reed Festival in Dennison, Iowa, to talk with festival organizers. While in Iowa, she met with Frank Dennis in Des Moines, Pam Dennis in Ogden, and Yvonne Dennis in Corning.

April 27, 2004 Sandy Dennis Foundation hosts a birthday recognition at the Blue Moon Coffee Company in Hastings. It would have been Sandy’s 67th birthday.

April 25, 2004 Sandy Dennis Foundation plans to have a representative at local productions in which Sandy once had roles. Taken at the Hastings Community Theatre production of How the Other Half Loves, this photo features Stephanie Lau and Dwight Marsh in roles played by Sandy Dennis and Phil Silvers of the Broadway opening of the play in 1971.

March 24, 2004 Sandy Dennis Foundation Articles of Incorporation filed with the State of Nebraska. Board of Directors: Paula Beirow, Carole Meyer, Leslie Neuhaus, Tam Sears Pauley, Kathy Stoddard, Beckie Thompson. Advisory Board: Frank Dennis, Mark Hoeger, Ron Hull, Rick Scott, Doug Taylor.
